As principal consultant for Dumetka, LLC, a provider of business and IT service solutions, Mark developed winning proposals and presentations to acquire business with prestigious clients that include SmithKline Beecham, the US NAVY, Centocor (Part of Johnson & Johnson), and AMKOR Technology. Mark’s outstanding service and strong relationships with these clients resulted in significant repeat business. Mark’s technical expertise includes requirements modeling, application development and testing, and IT program and project management. As former Program Manager, Information & Software Engineering, at Sterling-Winthrop (now Sanofi-Aventis), Mark held global responsibilities for database design, software development practices, and user requirements definition. At Pfizer Animal Health, Mark was responsible for end-user computing, decision support, data warehousing, communications, and networks in North America. Mark has also assisted organizations in redesigning business processes, developing risk management procedures, optimizing project management performance, and assessing ROI on IT investments. Mark also has assisted clients in technology evaluation, development of technology selection processes, and definition of selection criteria.
Mark holds a M.Eng. (Engineering Science) from Penn State University; a B.S. Computer Science from Wilkes College; and a B.S. Science (Chemistry & Immunology) from Penn State University. Mark has developed and taught Management and IT courses at Penn State University (Graduate and Undergraduate), and at Immaculata University (Undergraduate).
